Knowledge of Lung Heart Resuscitation Must Be Provision for Everyone

Cardiac pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a medical aid measure to restore the function of breathing and / or blood circulation in the body that stops. Pulmonary heart resuscitation aims to keep blood and oxygen circulating throughout the body. CPR or CPR, usually done for people who experience cardiac arrest and are unable to breathe normally. The sign can be seen from a sudden faint and not respond when called. CPR needs to be done for those who do not breathe or have their pulse stopped after an accident, drowning, or heart attack. To do CPR, a person is advised to have undergone adequate training. But even if you don't have a training certificate, that doesn't mean you aren't allowed to help people who need CPR help. In addition, RJP must also be given if the person who has an accident does not move or does not respond to the awareness actions given by others. To do CPR, a person is advised to have undergone basic medical training.

These Are the Stages of Performing Pulmonary Resuscitation

The stages of performing rescue actions via RJP are abbreviated as C-A-B which stands for compression, airways, and breathing. Compression is the stage of pressing the chest, then airways are opening the respiratory pathway, and breathing is giving breathing assistance. Below is a little explanation about the stages of CAB or compression, liberation of the respiratory pathway, and breathing assistance from mouth to mouth. But before carrying out the RJP rescue stage, make sure the area where the victim is safe to do help, for example if on the road, people who want to be helped can be moved to the edge of the road to avoid traffic. Also check whether the victim is conscious or unconscious (unconscious), unconscious conditions that require further treatment. Be sure to call the following numbers to ask for further assistance, i.e. 118 to call an ambulance and the police at number 112.
  • Compression

  • This action is carried out if there is no pulse or heart rate found in the unconscious person. Performing first aid with the RJP technique starts with chest compression. Simply put one of the palms in the middle of the victim's chest and then put the other hand on the first hand. Then tighten the fingers of both hands and do chest compressions 5-6 cm deep, then release. Repeat applying pressure in the chest 100-120 times the pressure every minute until medical help comes or until the victim shows a response.
  • Open the airway

  • The second RJP action was an attempt to open the victim's respiratory tract. This is usually done after pressing the victim's chest. You do this by tilting the victim's head, then both hands are placed on his forehead. After that, gently lift the person's chin to open and secure the respiratory tract.
  • Give help breathing

  • The next stage of CPR is to provide breath of mouth aid. This can be done by pinching the victim's nose, then position our mouth right in the victim's mouth. Blow our breath into his mouth and check whether the victim's chest has been inflated and deflated like normal breathing. For every 30 chest compressions, complement with two breaths. Word of mouth breathing techniques should only be carried out by those who have received special training.
If you are not a healthcare professional and have not been trained, do chest compressions with your hands only (Hands Only CPR) without breathing assistance. Chest compressions continue until an emergency device called AED (Automated External Defibrillator) arrives and is ready for use. Chest compressions can also be stopped to be transferred to paramedics when they arrive. In addition, if the victim starts to respond and moves spontaneously, chest compression can be stopped.

Advantages of being able to perform CPR

Because RJP done right can save someone's life, then we must know how to do it. The following are important reasons why we need to learn cardiac pulmonary resuscitation techniques.
  • Maybe it can save someone from brain damage

  • One of the advantages we can do RJP is able to reduce the risk of victims experiencing brain damage. This is very possible because the first aid measures with CPR can keep oxygen and blood circulating in the victim's body. In conditions when the body is no longer passed through the supply of oxygen and blood, the possibility of brain damage will be very high.
  • Can save someone's life

  • The sooner a help is given, the more likely a person who has an accident or heart attack can be saved. If someone has a heart attack, then the heart's function to pump blood throughout the body will stop. If CPR is done immediately after the incident, the more likely the heart can return to work to circulate oxygen and blood throughout the body. This of course will increase one's chances of avoiding death.
  • Still rarely people can do CPR

  • Do not be surprised to find the fact that more than half of patients who have a heart attack do not get first aid in the form of pulmonary heart resuscitation. The main reason is that there are many people who have never received CPP training. In fact, rescue efforts with RJP are easy to learn and at the same time be applied in practice.
  • Many events of a heart attack at home

  • One other important reason why we need to have enough stock to do CPR is to anticipate people at home experiencing conditions that require CPR. At least 85 percent of heart attacks occur at home. This can happen to those around us, including family members. By having the ability to do cardiac and lung resuscitation, we can play a role in saving the lives of our loved ones.
Although RJP training is recommended, it does not mean that someone who has not undergone special training cannot help people in this way. We can still do chest compressions with hands only (hands only CPR) if there is someone who needs help through this method, until medical assistance comes. During this time, people are afraid to do CPR because they feel they do not have enough expertise to do it. In addition, there is also a fear of infection if you have to provide breathing assistance from mouth to mouth. If so, doing CPR by compressing (compressing) the chest until medical assistance arrives, is also very helpful. Doing cardiac pulmonary resuscitation training or having knowledge about this, is very important. It could be that simple ability is needed to save the lives of others.

So many daily activities that require us to sit for a long time, ranging from doing homework, playing computer, working in the office, to traveling using a vehicle. Be careful, sitting too long can interfere with our health. A number of studies have linked sitting too long with various health problems, such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, cancer, dementia, to increase the risk of death from heart disease and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease). Sitting for a long period is thought to affect the body's ability to regulate blood sugar and blood pressure levels, and is thought to slow down the metabolism and breakdown of body fat. When in a sitting position, the body is likened to being extinguished because only a little muscle activity is activated. Reduce Sitting Intensity Actually there is no standard set of how much time someone spends to be considered sitting too long.
